Polestones 01: Chinese start-up carmaker, Polestones Automobiles has launched its first luxury SUV that is custom-built for overlanding and adventure seekers. The Polestones 01 is a 4×4 vehicle that comes with Level-2 autonomous features, a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine and an electric motor. But the most striking feature of this SUV is its rear tailgate, which houses a camper style kitchen and gazebo.
Polestones 01: King size bed and theater fun
The kitchen is equipped with an induction cooker, a water dispenser and plenty of storage space. The gazebo can be opened up to 270 degrees to provide shade and shelter from the elements. The Polestone 01 also comes with a choice of 6 or 7 seats, and the second and third rows can be folded down to form a king-size bed.
Apart from its off-road capabilities and luxurious interiors, the performance of the Polestone 01 is also impressive. The engine can generate maximum power of 469 horsepower and torque of 740 Nm and the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.5 seconds. The Polestone 01 also packs a 56 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that offers a range of up to 235 kms in electric mode.
