REET Level 1 Result: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has released the final result of the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) Level 1, bringing an end to the wait of the candidates who aspire to become teachers in government schools.
A total of 2,12,342 candidates had applied for REET Level 1, but only 1,96,696 appeared for the exam. This year, the cutoff has increased by 9 marks.
REET Level 1 Result Released
Through this exam, appointments will be given to newly appointed teachers on a total of 21,000 posts in government schools of the state. Of these, 19,133 posts are for general teachers and 1,867 posts are for special teachers.
The newly appointed chairman of the RSMSSB, Alok Raj, said that the board had made every effort to release the results on time. He also said that the process of document verification for REET Level 2 has been completed and the result of Level 2 will be released soon.

Teacher Level – 2 (Hindi) – 3176 Posts
Teacher Level – 2 (Punjabi) – 272 Posts
Teacher Level – 2 (Sanskrit) – 1808 Posts
Teacher Level – 2 (Urdu) – 806 Posts
Teacher Level – 2 (Social Studies) – 4172 Posts
Teacher Level – 2 (Sindhi) – 9 Posts
Teacher Level – 2 (English) – 8782 Posts
Teacher Level – 2 (Science/Maths) – 7435 Posts

OBC: 187.9231
EWS: 181.2479
MBC: 185.6197
SC: 173.2436
ST: 156.0385
The appointments for the 21,000 posts will be given in September itself, before the code of conduct is imposed for the upcoming assembly elections.
