This notice explains how ULKA handles information when you browse the site or send an enquiry.
Requests needed to serve the site
Opening a page sends a request to the services that deliver ULKA. Technical information can include your IP address, the requested address, the time, browser information and information about the response. Our hosting and delivery services use technical requests and logs to operate the site, diagnose failures and protect it against abuse.
ULKA uses Cloudflare for its public delivery and security infrastructure. Cloudflare processes network requests as part of providing those services; its Privacy Policy explains its processing. This technical operation is separate from a visitor analytics programme.
Search, images and fonts
The site search sends your search terms to ULKA as part of the request address. Those terms can appear in technical request records, so do not enter private information into the search box. The search is used to find content on this site.
Article images, team pictures and brand assets are served from ULKA's media paths. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts through fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which causes your browser to make requests to Google. Google's Privacy Policy explains how it handles information received through its services.
Information you send through forms
The general contact form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. About and Contact use the same form and save enquiries to the same inbox. The separate advertising form collects your contact and company details, website, product description, placement objective, preferences, budget and currency, intended audience, timing, and any links or comments you provide.
Accepted submissions are stored in our content management system with their submission date and technical request information, including IP address and browser information. The people administering ULKA can review the enquiry to handle your request, consider a correction or discuss a proposed project. Please provide only information needed for that purpose and leave out passwords, payment details and unnecessary sensitive information.
Submission notifications are configured through Telegram. This can send labelled excerpts of an accepted enquiry and a link to its private inbox record through Telegram's service. The complete enquiry remains in the site inbox, and Telegram's Privacy Policy describes its handling of messages on that service.
Protecting forms against spam
Forms use a hidden field, a signed timing token and limits on submissions from an IP address to reduce automated abuse. The timing token expires after one day, so a form left open overnight may need to be reloaded. These checks run on the server without a third-party CAPTCHA script.
The system also derives a hash from the sender's email address to recognise repeat senders across sites in the same publishing network. It compares that identifier with submissions received by other sites during the previous 24 hours and may mark a later submission as spam for review. The comparison period is not a promise that the enquiry itself is deleted after 24 hours.
Analytics, advertising and external links
ULKA has not enabled visitor analytics, advertising tracking or affiliate tracking links. There is no newsletter subscription service on the site. These settings do not prevent the technical requests needed to load pages, fonts and images or to process a form.
Articles can link to sources, product providers and other websites. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own data practices. A Sponsored content label identifies a paid placement; it does not mean that an advertising tracking service is installed.
Questions about your information
Use Contact to ask about information you have submitted, request a correction or ask for deletion. Include enough detail to identify the enquiry without sending additional sensitive information. We may need to establish that the request relates to you before acting on it.
This notice does not set a fixed retention period for every technical record or enquiry. Tell us if you have a question about a particular submission or continuing use of information. We will update this page when the site's processing changes.
