Wix has brought its Harmony website builder into Gemini as a connected app. Announced on 24 August, the integration lets users describe a site in a Gemini conversation and continue managing parts of the business from the same place. Wix says the app is available in eligible markets; its announcement does not provide a complete country list.
The connection extends beyond producing a page design. Wix says a Harmony site can use its existing services for payments, commerce, bookings and other business functions. Those services matter because a convincing homepage is only one part of a working shop or appointment-based business.
From a conversation to a working site
The announced setup begins by connecting the Wix app and typing “@Wix” in Gemini. Users can provide instructions by text or voice, including the business’s purpose, goals and visual identity. A more specific brief gives the builder a clearer starting point: what the business sells, who it serves and what a visitor should be able to do.
After creation, a site can be accessed through Gemini or Wix Business Manager. Wix lists inventory management, analytics, product-price updates and bookings among the supported business tasks. That could make routine changes easier for an owner who already uses Gemini, though the announcement alone does not establish how reliably every request is handled.
Before connecting a business account, read the permissions shown during setup. A tool that can update prices or bookings has a different level of access from one that only proposes a draft page. Keep a clear record of which account controls the site and who is allowed to make changes.
What to check before publishing
Treat the first result as a site that needs a practical review. Open every navigation item, submit the enquiry form and check the confirmation message. For a shop, inspect delivery settings, tax treatment, payment options and the checkout journey. A booking business should verify its time zone, availability and cancellation wording.
Content needs the same attention. Remove invented testimonials, unsupported claims and any services the business does not offer. View long headings and product descriptions on a phone, and check that the contact details belong to the business. These checks apply regardless of whether the page was assembled through a conversation or a conventional editor.
The integration may be useful for keeping site creation and everyday management close together. Choosing it still requires checking plan costs, local availability and the business features actually included in the account. Wix’s announcement describes the connection, rather than a guarantee that every business can launch without further setup.
